Veronica Ek is a Norwegian born artist residing in Christchurch, New Zealand
She studied Art, design and photography in Norway, with photography being her first “paint brush” so to say. She still brings a camera with her everywhere she goes.

Veronicas paintings are a blend of abstraction and realism, deeply influenced by the winter scenes that have always captivated her.
Whether it's capturing the quiet beauty of a snow-covered landscape or the intricate play of light in a abstract scene, Veronicas goal is to evoke a sense of wonder and introspection.
Veronica specialises in oil painting inspired by nature, but is continuously experimenting with a variety of subject matters, media and stylistic techniques.
